• How do you decide which firms and lobbyists to list in your directories?

Influence features a comprehensive online database of lobby registrations filed with Congress since April 1, 2000. That data, along with the reporting of our staff of journalists, is used to compile profiles of the people and firms who influence Washington politics.

We encourage our lobbyist readers to submit information about themselves or their firms. Click here if you would like to add yourself or your firm to our directories. You must provide your name and daytime phone number for verification purposes. We will make every effort to post the information in a timely manner.

• What should I do if I see a mistake in a profile or a lobbying registration?

If you come across any information that you know to be outdated or erroneous (i.e., a registration that has been terminated, a lobbyist who has changed firms, etc.), please let us know. E-mail our editors at Influence@alm.com.
